Hi Both,

There is a parallel theory I haven’t mentioned yet, that when I did my book on China’s digital infrastructure (link below) I did know that I might be risking state-backed cyberattack, but I published it anyway : )

So this story may get interestinger and interestinger (to be ungrammatical about it : ) usually authoritative regimes don’t like books like this,

Again, just theories, but it may explain some of the pointlessness of some of the attacks. Quite a lot of these hacks are surveillance oriented, so I may be getting cyberattacks from two autocratic regimes at the moment, which if that’s the case, I must say, I’m rather proud of that : )
